Welcome to the home of the
Bentonville Flute Circle
Our Mission:
Encourage the preservation, appreciation, and advancement of the traditional and contemporary First Nations Flutes. Provide a venue in which people who are interested in the First Nations flutes can gather and share their music, knowledge, talents and experiences. Provide an atmosphere that encourages everyone to grow musically, from the beginner to the recording artist. Share the gifts the that this fellowship has given to us freely with our neighbors.
When and Where do we meet?
We meet on the last Saturday of every month (unless otherwise announced through email and facebook event to our members) at the Museum of Native American History in Bentonville Arkansas from 5:30pm until 7:30pm.
We also hold special events throughout the year. The biggest being our Annual Holiday Gathering of Flute Circles held in early December. Where flute circles from all around the area come to celebrate the holiday season and to join together in making music.
At our events all forms of indigenous wind instruments are welcome as well as hand drums and other hand held rhythm instruments. Other folk instruments may participate as accompaniment to the flutes.
